Role Overview:
As a Network Engineer with our client, you will play a crucial role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing client networks to ensure maximum uptime and performance. You’ll work on a wide range of network systems, from firewalls and routers to switches and wireless access points. Your technical expertise will help drive the success of the business by delivering innovative network solutions for diverse customers, ensuring their infrastructure runs smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructures for a range of clients across multiple industries.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring high availability and quick resolution of issues.
• Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
• Collaborate with the team to implement security protocols and safeguard client networks.
• Provide technical support for network-related issues, both remotely and on-site.
• Conduct network upgrades and ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Perform regular system health checks, backups, and documentation of network infrastructure.
• Assist in the design and deployment of new network solutions and services to meet client needs.
• Support clients through proactive communication, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, ideally within an MSP environment.
• Strong knowledge of network technologies, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Proficiency in managing and configuring networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• In-depth knowledge of network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are highly desirable.
